Today I went to the ophthalmologist for a vision check, fundus examination, eye photos, and consultation. Lately, when I look at my phone or a book, I find it easier to see without my glasses. 😁 I wear bifocals, but by taking care of allergy prevention and keeping my eyes moisturized every day, my eyes are well-hydrated and protected from allergies, so they're doing well. My nearsightedness and farsightedness are getting worse though. 🦆

I think you're talking about eye surgery for cataracts, right? A friend of mine had surgery on both of her eyes, a few days apart. She was so happy that she could see much better afterward. I use eye drops as a preventative measure. 🐰💗

I want to maintain a clear, wide field of vision for a long distance, so I'm hoping to keep it that way with eye drops. Since bad teeth naturally affect the digestive system, if I feel like something's not quite right, I immediately make an appointment with the dentist for treatment. I listen to music every day with earphones, so my ears need to be healthy too, but so far they're fine. As for my memory, lately I've been having trouble remembering singers' and actors' names. 😁

Yesterday, for some reason, I heard a strange noise coming from my neighbor's field. It was a sound I'd never heard before. My neighbor was also surprised and shone a flashlight on it, and it turned out to be a raccoon! Last year, a badger appeared in the field, and it seems like animals are coming from places with abundant nature into residential areas. They're probably coming in search of food, but it's a problem. When I hear about invasive species, even flowers can cause ecological disruption. The orange-flowered 'Long-headed Poppy' (Papaver dubium) has trace amounts of toxic substances in the sap of its stems and leaves, and apparently, touching it with bare hands can cause a rash. Before I knew this, I left them in my fields and gardens because they were blooming beautifully, but now that I know, I diligently pull them out and dispose of them as combustible waste. 🐰💗

Since it was still early, there were so many beautiful blossoms. We were on our way somewhere, so we didn't stop then, but on the way back, I made sure to stop at that same spot and finally snapped some photos of the lotuses. 📱✨ 🐰💗
