@farhadfarhadi1 You should start it late summer- early fall. Because saffron crocus is fall bloomer. https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/herbs/saffron/growing-saffron-crocus.htm If you try hydroponic, peal brown skin of bulb off, wash the bulb gently, and dry it out a day. Then put it on water, the bottom of bulb is slightly wet. Keep it dark place a few days, you can find roots are coming. When roots are sprouting, you should decrease water level. When you make hydroponic of suffron, no light would need till blooming. Room light is fine enough. But after blooming, many long leaves sprout out, it needs much light, direct sun - part shade, and I suggest you plant it pot or garden. It requires rich and well drain soil. Set it outside sunny place of your house, and water it before dry out. You also need fertilizer after blooming.
in the summer season , the leaves are dead. And they hate humid. You can keep it in the soil, or put it out from the soil and hang it like onions.
Next late summer, small bulb should plant in the soil. A little bit deeper than before ,cuz bulb will be fat when it plants deep enough.(new bulb is coming above old bulb ) Keep moist not damp. Big bulb can use for Hydroponic. Depth of bulb is twice of the bulb- 4 times of bulb.
