In the deejay, the test samples are verifying the differences in the application of Magamp K, Dynamix10, and Organic-takumi fertilizer. In Fiorina, I added chicken manure in addition to the three types of fertilizers.
The MagampK has a great grass appearance, and many flowers have bloomed. In summary, I think it fits the needs of home gardeners. It is surprising that the high phosphoric has an immediate effect on the number of flowers, even in early growth.
In the organic-takumi, I expected the microorganisms to play an active role. I think the vigor of the two deejay varieties, White and Burgundy, is proof of mycorrhizal fungi.
Dynamix10 did not perform well on the Deejay. At Fiorina, I have applied fertilizer to Velvet Gold, and I think the good vigor is a characteristic of the Velvet Gold variety. In terms of poor flower growth for Velvet Gold, I wonder if Dynamix10 is not suitable for flower home gardening.
The chicken manure for the fiorinas also works. It is the best in terms of cost performance. However, I did not find any functional advantages amomg these technologically advanced materials.
I am testing organic fertilizers because I want to test the sustainability of the soil as I continue to reuse it. In addition, how well things like Bacillus and Takemi bacteria function is an ongoing observation item. This is an item that should continue to be monitored until early spring.
The above is the report on the verification of the fertilizers in the fall.
As soon as I saw the arrival information, I went to the shop during lunch break but there were only three pots left. And they were pots that had not yet flowered.
I don't know what color will bloom, but if I miss out on this one, there will be no next shipment, so I bought it.
I will enjoy it after it blooms!

Viola Yokohama selection Flare Blue
I grew it last year and it was so beautiful. It smells very nice!
One of the plants was so thin. it was bad. When i check the plant, there are a lot of blackened leaves at the base of the plant. It was a fungal disease. I didn't expect it because I don't use fungicides in November. I guessed the disease must have appeared because of this hot temp lasted until November.
I moved the plant to another pot, removed the diseased positions, and sprayed fungicide. Benica Nextspray is very useful in this situation.
Viola Fiorina Growth record Day 14 Velvet Gold is growing well because the seedlings were large when planted. Red Flare and Sky Blue are growing slowly. Last year, the plants of Red Flare didn't start growing until about a month after planting. I guess it is that kind of variety.
Velvet Gold, Aurora are overflowing from the pots. Sky Blue, which is said among gardeners to be difficult to grow, has a good shape in my garden. Red Flare is a bad habit that does not want to grow big. Fiorina is growing well without any disease. That's excellent!
Aurora and Velvet Gold are very fuzzy, mossy. Sky Blue is not dense the leaves enough.
As with another post which is deejay, I also use three different types of fertilizers in the pot of fiorina. We can see the difference on the photos. I think it is a good sample for the initial verification that we could see the same trend even with different varieties, fiorina &deejey.
→I will write a report on deejay and fiorina in the next issue.
Aurora is the best for its grassy appearance. Velvet Gold is the most vigorous. Aurora is the one that flowers well. However, I think this is due to the difference in fertilizer, although there is also a difference in the variety.
Rosepink and Copperfield are growing slowly? The fertilizer for these two is "Dynamix10". And I forget to put silicate white soil in the Copperfield, too.
Premium Viola Deejay Rose Pink Copperfield Blue with Purple Wing Yellow Burgundy White
As expected of a deejay, the shape of plant and blooming are excellent. However, the number of flowers is only about 30% compared to its full bloom. When it is, the flowers come up to the point that you can't see the leaves.
And one more thing, I have tested three different types of fertilizers, with and without "million", on these pots. The difference is obvious from these historical photos.
Premium Viola Deejay Rose Pink Copperfield Blue with Purple Wing Yellow Burgundy White
In order of best grassiness, blue, yellow, burgundy, and white. In order of best flowering, blue -> white. Rose Pink and Copperfield has a distinct difference. I think it is because these two were prone to disease in the hot autumn.
Premium Viola Deejay Rose Pink Copperfield Blue with Purple Wing Yellow Burgundy White
This is the last post of this season because the growth will slow down over the winter. Rose-pink is in bad shape. It is dying from the top of the leaves. The conditions are the same as other pots except for fertilizer, so the seedling itself may have been weak. It is a pity, because Rose-pink was very successful last year.
It did not grow well this year. Yellow and Copperfield are starting to go belly up under the warm temp. so I try to open the pots & finish it. There are no roots at all. Somehow, I thought this pot of Richell was hard to dealt it due to the shape of the bottom depression, the number of drainage holes at the bottom, and the impression that the soil is hard to dry out.
Something is not going well. The top right seedling, which is small, started to wilt. Others are withering from the tips of leaves or darkening. They are not in good health...
I reported the top right seedling wilted last time, the top center has also gone. The ones that were small at the time of potting up.
The other seedlings are growing well. Fine new leaves are also sprouting. It looks good. However, the leaves are curling up, I think the LED light is too strong for the leaves.
It is growing abnormally... The leaves have curled up. Previously, I guessed that the LED was too strong, but it seems that there was a powdery mildew disease. I sterilized them and they improved. I am sure this is the shape of the leaves that were affected by disease.
The upper right and upper center are replaced by other viola seedlings.
Transparent slit pot by Kaneya. The rooting is fully visible. We can also see how the pot dries out. If beginners learn the timing of watering with this pot, they will quickly get good at it. If we use a black pot of the same size instead of a pot cover, we can prevent the roots from being exposed to direct sunlight.
So, what I want to compare is the difference between seedlings grown with LED lighting and seedlings grown w/Sunshine.
Seedling Pansy in the LED Labo The pot in the lower right corner with composted has started to wither. I wonder if it was caused by additional fertilizer. Upper left: The color of leaves is not good. It seems to be lack of trace elements such as iron? Bottom left: Black peat, Bottom center: Peat moss is growing again without powdery mildew. The internodes are obviously too close together and the leaves are very dense.
Transparent Slit Pot Watering The gardener generals say When it dries out → put it watering plently. But I annoy how much do I make it dry out? The bigginers don't know. Actually I let it dry like this photos on 11/29. I think that after 1-2 days in the winter sun, it will wither and shrivel up.
By the time it gets to this point, the roots will be growing to get water!
